Inclusion Solutions Announces New FuelCall Customers in Leon County, Florida as Disabled Population Continues Demand for ADA Compliance and Accessibility

Leon County, Florida passes ordinance requiring FuelCall Refueling Alert System in gas stations with 10 or more pumps

Evanston, Ill. (November 11, 2013) Inclusion Solutions (www.inclusionsolutions.com), a leading provider of products and services to help businesses and governments create accessible enviroments to those with disabilities, today announced Leon County, Florida passed Ordinance No. 13-21, in which installation of the FuelCall™ Refueling Alert System is mandated for gas stations with more than 10 pumps. The new ordinance demonstrates Leon County’s commitment to providing equal access to people with disabilties, many of whom are veterans, and is further proof that counties are finding the imposition of local regulations on self-service gas stations the best measure for ensuring equal access.

The FuelCall™ Refueling Alert System is an ADA-compliant system with an oversized touchpad that sits close to the pump to allow drivers with disabilities to signal from inside the car to someone inside the station they need assistance at the pump. Customers who benefit from the service are reinforcing the move with repeat patronage. Early adopters of the ordinance including Shell, Murphy, Quick-N-Save, and Costco report business from this population is loyal, and store employees have developed a weekly routine with these customers. These stations join the ranks of Hy-Vee, Marathon, Dion Oil, and BP, all of which offer FuelCall™ to franchisees to ensure people with disabilities are provided equal and dignified access in refueling their vehicles.

Inclusion Solutions Founder and CEO Patrick Hughes has dedicated his career to providing people equal service, and the organization’s focus on removing barriers for individuals with disabilities has led to substantial growth in both its government and retail customer base. At the core of Inclusion Solutions’ product portfolio is a strong commitment to quality and ADA standards, and each product in the portfolio addresses both customer and business demands. Flagship products include the Pakflatt® Franklin® voting booth, the BigBell™ door alert system, and the FuelCall™ Refueling Assistance Alert. States Hughes, “One of three American families has a member with a disability, which means one of three people visiting a gas station in Leon County today loves someone with a disability. Those people are for whom we created FuelCall™.”

Inclusion Solutions’ customers, and particularly those with the FuelCall™ product, benefit from increased awareness within the disability community and improve business by tapping into a previously underserved market segment.
